We officially launched Triage on December 26th, 2016. From the beginning, the core of our messaging has always related to the promotion of a health-focused approach to body composition
and performance goals. Over time, we have hired other valuable staff members that support that mission, and we are gradually expanding to a multidisciplinary approach to fitness, with educational backgrounds spanning from physiotherapy to nutrition to medicine. More to come...
There have been things we have changed our minds about during that time, which will always be the case, but what surprises me is how much stays the same over time, despite us all advancing our education. This is an important message to pay attention to heading into the New Year. Achieving great results really does just continue to come down to being consistent with diligently executing a handful of basic habits and
behaviours. The hard part is the execution.
Novelty is attractive, but if there is one thing I have learned over the past 6 years, it's that there are very, very few "new and exciting"
developments in fitness that really move the needle. Whether it's technology or information, most new developments fail the test of time. And while it can be tempting to begin thinking outside the box, this is only worthwhile when the tried-and-tested within the box has been exhausted. For most of our followers and clients, the box has barely been explored, and rarely applied for long enough.
Remember that this year. Keep your blinkers on as we head into the most proliferative period of online fitness marketing. The diet hacks, wonder supplements, and technology to solve all your problems. Don't fall for it. Not this year. Consistent, diligent execution of the basics. Let's do that
instead!
Thank you all for your support this year and each year prior. We hope to continue providing you with valuable, informative, reliable content in 2023 and for many years thereafter.
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
