Finally, although you may be worried about “discs slipping”, we know that 1) discs don’t really slip, and 2) when we do have insults to our discs (e.g. protrusion, herniation), most resolve on their own, and aren’t always associated with pain.
Of course, this is just general advice, and consultation with your chartered physiotherapist is recommended if pain persists and you need additional guidance. Along with this, consulting with a healthcare professional would also be recommended if you experience neurological symptoms (e.g. loss of power to the leg(s), numbness or tingling). Instagram posts can’t really replace consulting with a healthcare professional, especially if you are experiencing a lot of pain and/or disability.
