This year’s annual
Burren Chernobyl Project fundraiser is dedicated toward an independent living project for young people with disabilities in the Gorodishche Orphanage. The funds raised will be used to supply plumbing to a new housing facility in the orphanage.
This is an incredibly important project that will enable the young people to gain more independence within the institution. The aim of the programme, which is
guided by World Without
Borders, is to help these young people develop the skills required to eventually gain their independence. The new housing is a key component of facilitating the development of independence among more young people.
As part of the fundraiser, we (Triage) are currently matching all donations made to
our GoFundMe page. This means that your donation will be doubled in value, allowing you to have double the impact on the lives of these young people.
BONUS: If you do make a donation and share it on your social media (tag us), then we will be sending out a free training ebook. All you have to do is email us with the screenshot of your donation and we will send that out at the end of the week.
If you value what we put out, this favour would mean a lot to us. Thank you.
